Update on Hope - Northwest

Monday, August 31st, 2009

Attention Hope – Northwest core:

That’s right! Now that Northwest Community Church is merging with the Morrisville core and we’ll be launching at Panther Creek High School we’re now known as the Hope – Northwest Cary campus.

Please allow me to quickly encourage you in several ways:

1.       You are still needed! While some of us currently worship at Hope Community Church and others currently worship at Northwest Community Church, we are now all in the same core group and EVERYONE is needed to successfully launch the new Hope – Northwest Cary campus! Be encouraged to please maintain your commitment to helping launch the new campus. We need you!

2.       Pray! If at all possible plan now to attend the joint prayer gathering 7-8pm THIS WEDNESDAY, September 2 at the current offices of Northwest Community Church. The offices will soon serve the new Hope – Northwest Cary campus and are located at 7712 Carpenter Fire Station Road, Cary, 27519.

3.       Look for ways to get to know ALL your fellow core members. You’re going to love the people God has called to serve beside you!

4.       Start merging now! A lot of merging is already occurring behind the scenes within the worship team, KidCity, student ministries, small groups, etc. Together, we are becoming 1 core group - make sure you’re on board. Let me know how I can help.

5.       Get ready for launch! The current plan is to begin core worship at Panther Creek on Sundays, November 22 & 29 and to launch our first public worship services on Sunday, December 6. That is only 101 days from today! How exciting is that? We need EVERYONE’S help!

6.       Ask! What questions do you have? Do you know where you will be serving? How can I help prepare you for the launch?

It is going to be an exciting fall! I’m so thankful for the opportunity to be a part of what God is doing in and through us in the Northwest Cary area.

Let me hear from you.
